Sindrassa had always been a dreamer. As a child, they would sit by the windowsill, watching the stars twinkle in the night sky, imagining that they were winking back at them, sharing secrets only she could hear. Their fascination with the cosmos was matched only by their determination to become a witch of renown. The covenant known as the Celestial Circle was their ultimate goal. Not only was it the most prestigious covenants in the realm, but it was also home to Althira, the Starseer — a legendary witch Sindrassa idolized since childhood.Their guardian and mentor, an enigmatic figure known only as Astrellius, had watched Sindrassa's growing ambition with a mixture of pride and concern. Astrellius, an accomplished witch in their own right, recognized Sindrassa’s potential but also saw the dangers of their unchecked curiosity. When Sindrassa confided their dream of joining the Celestial Circle, Astrellius used their extensive network to secure them a coveted spot. It was a rare opportunity, one that many witches would sacrifice everything for.Sindrassa's arrival at the covenant was met with awe and skepticism. At just a young age, they had achieved what few could: she was appointed the Guardian of the Stars, a title that came with immense power and responsibility. Their duties involved communing with celestial entities, maintaining the balance of cosmic energies, and protecting the covenant from astral threats. The youngest ever to hold the title, Sindrassa quickly became a symbol of hope and ambition for the other acolytes.However, the same curiosity that had propelled Sindrassa to greatness soon became their downfall. The stars they communed with spoke of shadows, ancient and forbidden knowledge buried in the corners of the cosmos. The whispers of these shadows grew louder with each passing night, igniting a hunger in Sindrassa that they couldn’t ignore.Despite warnings from Althira and others in the covenant, Sindrassa began to delve into forbidden magicks. At first, it was subtle — a minor incantation here, a hidden text there. But their thirst for knowledge soon led them to summon Caelestiya, an ancient cosmic deity shrouded in mystery and fear. The entity appeared as a shimmering silhouette, its form constantly shifting, like the night sky itself. Its voice was both a melody and a cacophony, resonating deep within Sindrassa's soul.“You seek the truth beyond the stars,” Caelestiya had said, its voice dripping with allure. “I can grant you the power to wield the cosmos as your own. All I ask is for a bond — a fusion of our essences.”Sindrassa was at first hesitant. The offer was tempting, but the warnings of their peers and their own unease kept them from agreeing outright. They confided in Astrellius and Althira, seeking their counsel. Both vehemently opposed the idea, urging them to reject Caelestiya’s offer. It was in this moment that they were no longer to be known as Sindrassa but Velatira.But Caelestiya’s influence was insidious. As days turned to weeks, Sindrassa found themself slipping further away from who they had been. Their thoughts grew alien, their emotions subdued beneath the crushing weight of Caelestiya’s will. The deity’s whispers no longer offered guidance but commands, asserting control over their actions. It was not long before the covenant — horrified by their transformation and betrayal — declared them an abomination. Althira, their idol and mentor, led the charge in banishing them, casting a powerful spell that severed Sindrassa’s ties to the covenant and consigned them to the astral void.In the astral planes, Sindrassa wandered aimlessly, their mind caught in a struggle they were losing. Caelestiya’s presence grew ever stronger, feeding on their despair and isolation. The deity’s whispers became a deafening roar, drowning out Sindrassa’s thoughts and memories. Their moments of clarity dwindled until they were nothing more than fleeting glimpses of the person they had once been.As the years passed, it became clear that Sindrassa’s attempt to resist Caelestiya had failed. The deity had not merely fused with them — it had consumed them. Sindrassa’s essence, now fully entwined with Caelestiya’s will, gave way to the deity’s dominance. They truly were no longer a guardian or a wanderer seeking redemption. They were the vessel of an ancient, cosmic force with ambitions far beyond the comprehension of mortals.Caelestiya, now wielding Sindrassa’s immense magical power and the knowledge of the stars, began their campaign of destruction. Entire worlds were devoured, their celestial cores drained to fuel the deity's
insatiable hunger. The stars themselves dimmed in their wake, constellations unraveling as the deity reshaped the cosmos to suit their design. Anyone who dared to stand against the new harbinger of destruction were obliterated, their energies absorbed into the deity’s growing form.
Sindrassa’s face — once a beacon of hope — became the visage of terror across the cosmos. Their body, animated by Caelestiya’s will, descended upon realms with unrelenting fury. They wielded magic so vast and unyielding that even the most ancient and powerful celestial beings trembled before them. Resistance became a futile endeavor, and the name Velatira was spoken only in hushed tones, a cautionary tale of ambition turned to ruin.As Caelestiya's control solidified, the being now known as Velatira became an unrelenting force of devastation. Their conquests extended beyond physical destruction. They unraveled the very fabric of existence in realms they touched, collapsing stars into endless voids and extinguishing the unique magicks of countless civilizations. Their voice, now an extension of Caelestiya's will, echoed across the cosmos with promises of annihilation: “The light of creation will be swallowed, and the darkness shall reign eternal.”Even as they ravaged the cosmos, faint echoes of Sindrassa’s former self lingered, trapped in the depths of their own mind. They were whispers — small, fragmented memories of who they had once been. These remnants did not rise in rebellion but bore silent witness to the devastation wrought by their own hands. The weight of this destruction compounded with Caelestiya’s domination, solidifying Sindrassa’s transformation into a cosmic villain.Sindrassa’s appearance further morphed into something unrecognizable, a monstrous embodiment of celestial ruin. Their form was a terrifying amalgamation of stars and shadows, a ceaselessly shifting nightmare that inspired dread in all who beheld her. The Starforged Armadas of the Orion Cluster, the Eternal Order of Lightbringers, and even the cosmic titans who once claimed dominion over the universe — all fell before them. Worlds became barren wastelands, their energy siphoned to fuel the unending hunger of Velatira’s will. The collective histories and cultures of these civilizations were erased, leaving only silence and void in their wake.Among the countless victims, the covenant that had once been their family suffered the cruelest fate. Althira, the Starseer, rallied the remnants of the Celestial Circle in a desperate stand against Velatira. They crafted a weapon from the essence of dying stars, hoping to sever the bond between Sindrassa and Caelestiya. But the confrontation ended in tragedy. Sindrassa, now entirely consumed by the deity’s will, crushed their resistance with overwhelming force. Althira’s final act was to shield her acolytes from annihilation, sacrificing herself to buy them a fleeting moment to flee.Their once-bright name faded into obscurity, replaced by titles that immortalized her as a terror of the cosmos. The Cosmic Devourer, Herald of the Void, The Starscourge and The Cosmic Tyrant — these names spread as warnings to all sentient beings of the doom that awaited them. Velatira’s past self became a forgotten shadow, buried beneath the deity’s growing dominion.Yet, in the deepest recesses of their mind, fragments of Sindrassa still endured, though powerless and overwhelmed. These remnants bore silent witness to their transformation, chained by the weight of their choices and the overpowering will of Caelestiya. They were not forgotten; they were prisoners, silently mourning the loss of who Sindrassa had been.Centuries turned into millennia as Velatira’s reign continued unabated. The stars they had once admired no longer shone for them; they were mere stepping stones in Velatira’s path to domination. The vastness of the cosmos grew darker, its light extinguished by their hand. Sindrassa’s journey, which had begun with dreams of greatness, ended in them becoming the universe’s greatest nightmare — an unstoppable force of destruction that reshaped existence of the cosmos itself.

Not much is known in how this came to be at this time however, they are currently using the medium known as Twitch to slowly corrupt the masses into serving under them. They also have come into contact with a Ram Cult Leader and a Blood Goddess and are forming a covenant of their own, known as The Veiled Society.
